The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, as is whether or not it has resulted in any injuries. We'll update this post as we learn more.
:::: UPDATE ::::
University of Minnesota spokesman Steve Henneberry told us the fire involved three vehicles and is now under control. He said no injuries have been reported.
"The ramp is closed to incoming traffic and pedestrians and that's because of smoke levels," Henneberry said. "That means people cannot leave [the ramp] either but [officials] are expecting that to change soon since the fire is under control."
Henneberry said the Minneapolis Fire Department will take the lead in determining the fire's cause, which remains unknown at this point.
