Favre won't go away, Vikings drama continues
Just when we thought this whole Brett Favre in Purple drama was done for good, it continues Energizer-bunny style. Please Favre, just go away.
The ESPN report, via the Pioneer Press:
ESPN is reporting this afternoon that, according to a source, Favre had X-rays of his right shoulder sent to the Vikings for evaluation. One of the biggest questions surrounding Favre's possible return to play for the Vikings is the health of his throwing arm. Favre has a partially torn biceps tendon.
The ESPN report comes after Yahoo! Sports reported on Thursday that Favre told Vikings coach Brad Childress that he wants to remain retired and not play for Minnesota. Favre had a conversation with Childress on the phone and informed him of the decision, according to the report, which cited a source close to the team.
