Executive director search reopened at District 202
The Minneapolis queer-youth center District 202 has launched a second round of interviews in its search for a new executive director. The 202 board issued a call for new resumés in late October after an initial search failed to result in a hire. The executive director post has been vacant since the departure of 202 founder Michael Kaplan in June. District 202 board president Ross Janssen says he hopes a second round of interviews can be completed by January or February.
Meanwhile, 202 development director Melissa Conway has been named interim executive director. Kevin Cwayna, who was named interim director in June and was a finalist for the executive-director position, left 202 in October.
