Eugene Glaraton, sex offender, cuts off ankle monitor and bolts halfway house
Look at this mug shot to the right of Eugene Glaraton. Have you seen him? He's a 42-year-old convicted level-three sex offender who cut the electronic monitoring device from his ankle and escaped from a St. Paul halfway house.
He's been missing for four days.
This guy is bad news, so stay away from him if you see him, and contact 911 or the Department of Corrections at 651-603-0026 instead.
Glaraton was convicted in 1987 for raping a 15-year-old boy in Hastings, and in 2007 and 2010 for failing to register as a sex offender.
He's a white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 222 pounds. He has gray hair, mustache and a goatee, and blue eyes, but the last time anyone saw the guy he had a shaved head.
He was released from the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Lino Lakes on Feb. 15, and was on "intensive supervised release." He's been missing since Feb. 20.
