Erin Carlyle nominated for Maggie award
Erin Carlyle's reporting on Minneapolis City Council has been nominated for a Maggie award.
The Maggie Awards celebrate the the best articles from publications West of the Mississippi. Carlyle is a finalist in the category Best Series of Articles/Consumer for her two-part investigation of Minneapolis City Council, Lisa Knows Best and The Perks of Office, which led a three-judge panel to rule that the City Council president had violated campaign finance law.
Winners will be announced May 7.
