Emma Holman ID'd as woman struck by car on Grand Avenue
Police have identified the 24-year-old woman who was hit by a car and killed yesterday as Emma Holman.
The details of the crash are still unraveling, but police say Holman, who is from Bloomington, was near a friend's house when she crossed Grand Avenue West near the intersection of Syndicate Street.
She was struck by a car at about 7:15 p.m. and died on scene.
Police don't think the driver, who was not been identified, was drinking. The driver stuck around after police arrived, reports the Star Tribune.
The driver has not been charged with a crime.
