Derek Boogaard's greatest moment [VIDEO]
As Wild fans continue to mourn the untimely death of Derek Boogaard on Friday at the age of 28, let us pause for a moment to remember the Boogeyman when he was at his proudest.
The date: April 17, 2007. The opponents: The Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
After the Duck's Brad May sucker-punched Wild Defenseman Kim Johnsson, the crowd at the Xcel Center cheered for their champion gladiator, Boooooo-gaard, to regulate the ice.
Which he did in spades.
He jawed at the Ducks, challenging the whole flock to a fight. None of them were brave enough to take him up on the offer.
