Dad allegedly drunk driving with infant, caught after police chase
Reading the daily police blotters around our state is a guaranteed lesson in good parenting. This man wins the award no doubt for dad of the year in Rochester.
A 27-year-old is accused of leading police on a chase after they tried to pull him over following a domestic abuse call with his girlfriend Wednensday. Halverson sped away, leading police on a case.
When police eventually stopped him, they found his 4-month-old daughter in the car unharmed.
The man could face charges including child endangerment, reckless driving, first-degree DUI, and fleeing from an officer.
Next time you want to play police chase, it might be best to leave the baby at home. At least the baby didn't fly out of an open car door though.
