Cyclist dies after being hit by car in Blaine
On Wednesday afternoon, a cyclist was hit and killed by a car in Blaine.
According to the Star Tribune, it occurred on the 13100 block of Jefferson Street NE. The car was going south when it struck the unidentified 60-year-old bicyclist.
The victim was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver is cooperating with the investigation, officials said.
