Crime blotter: doggy style

class=img_thumbleft>On November 7th, an unnamed passenger reported that his dog, Gigi, had been stolen from the baggage claim area of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. According to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court, the pet was worth more than $2,000. The breed of dog is not noted, but it does state that the animal was registered with the American Kennel Club . Six days later, in an unrelated investigation, airport police discovered a "priority pet receipt" for Gigi in the possession of Anthony Thomas Rocco. The 21-year-old Cottage Grove resident allegedly admited that he stole the dog. Rocco faces two felony counts of theft.
