For most people, sex in a public bathroom would be akin to traveling in one of hell's outer circles.
The stink! The dampness! The possibility of innocent bystanders walking in on you! Unless one's libido is completely out of control, it's hard to fathom how the benefits could possibly outweigh the discomfort.
Jaime Navarro, 29, and his lover, Stacy Lavin-Mejia, may beg to differ with my assessment of bathroom sex. Because yesterday, in the bathroom of a downtown St. Paul office tower, the booze-fueled couple got it on -- then got arrested.
[jump] According to the Pioneer Press, a security guard at UBS Plaza was unlucky enough to walk in on the two while they were going at it. You'll be surprised to learn that the guard told police he thought Navarro and Lavin-Mejia were intoxicated.
That's bad enough, but the two weren't content to simply leave the building and get a room someplace. When the guard asked them to leave, Navarro and Lavin-Mejia became combative. They even told the guard they were packing heat.
The guard contacted police, who ended up arresting the two at the intersection of East 10th and North Minnesota around 1:15 p.m. During the arrest, Lavin-Mejia got physical with officers, who then pushed her away. To cap off an exciting day, she ended up bumping her head on a wall and had to be transported to a hospital for treatment.
There is no word yet on the condition of the guard following his sure-to-cause-PTSD experience of walking in on the two while they were performing one of the most indecent public bathroom activities known to man.
