Cops say Dean Lindo snapped 700+ lewd pix of little girls at library, zoo
This is a long way from the boyhood prank of trying to sneak a peek up a girl's skirt: Dean Kenneth Lindo has been arrested after police say they found something like 700 crotch shots of girls on is digital camera and cell phone.
The 38-year-old Burnsville man has been charged with five felony counts of interference of privacy, thanks to a concerned dad in the Roseville library in June who grabbed the cameras and handed them to library staff. The staffers called the cops. The Dakota County Attorney's Office issued a complaint earlier this month.
The dad was onto Lindo after coming to the library with his daughters, the Pioneer Press reports:
The parent, according to charges, told police that about 11 a.m. June 12, "a minute after getting his daughters set up at the computer, the defendant came over and sat across from them. ... (The parent) stated he did not go out of eyesight of his daughters, did not feel good about the situation and told his daughters they were going to leave. ... (He) stated it was at that time that he witnessed the defendant pull his hands back from under the table."
The dad demanded that Lindo hand over his gear. Once the cops got their hands on it, Sun Newspapers report that:
Memory cards from the phone and digital cameras were examined June 23. The camera contained nearly 675 images focusing on the inner thigh and pubic regions of girls between 5-12 years old. The images appear to have been taken at libraries, parks and the Minnesota Zoo. The cell phone contained 23 similar photos.
Each felony charge Lindo faces carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
