A documentary project promising a behind-the-scenes look at Minnesota's most esoteric radio personality is in the process of raising funds on Kickstarter.
As of yesterday, Common Man: The Ego Has Landed had raised just over $2,000 toward filmmakers Gregg Holtgrewe and Matthew Deery's goal of $15,000. The duo have until July 13 to get there.
"We want to get behind The Common Man and find out what he's all about... to see a different side of this 'Radio Romeo,'" Holtgrewe and Deery write on their Kickstarter page. "We will follow his journey from the tough-guy towns of Detroit and Coon Rapids to his days in Wyoming and back again."
Donors who pledge $250 or more get to play a round of golf with the Common Man, among other perks.
