Comment of the Day: Praying for the Northside
Is divine intervention needed to deal with Minneapolis's public safety issues?
In the wake of another outburst of deadly gun violence in Minneapolis over the 4th of July weekend, Mayor Betsy Hodges asked people to "pray [for] all of those affected by these tragedies." Police Chief Janeé Harteau, meanwhile, "urge[d] people to put their guns down and find another way to resolve personal conflicts."
But some of our commenters think those remedies are insufficiently practical.

Hey, just like prayer and urging people to do the calm, rational thing, a prayer circle can't hurt, right?
