Comment of the Day: Pacemaker-inventing kids
Seems a bit technical for a kid to come up with in his parents' basement, doesn't it?
Today's Comment of the Day comes via misterrosewater, who points out how implausible it seems in this day and age that kids would do what the Medtronic founders did and found a company by inventing things in their folks' basement.
As we reported yesterday, Republican gubernatorial candidate Marty Seifert pins responsibility for that state of affairs on Obama and Mark Dayton. We're more inclined to cite video games and Facebook, but that isn't as fun as Blaming It On Obama, of course.
In any event, here's misterrosewater's comment:
Well, that sort of mentality would certainly help Little Johnny put himself through school. A parent can only hope to be so blessed!
