City Pages named finalist for three 2013 AAN Awards
The City Pages has made the final cut for three 2013 Association of Alternative Newsmedia awards.
We're proud to announce that Reed Fischer's Gimme Noise music blog, last year's "Reinventing the Wheel" cover story, and former art director Mike Kooiman's cover designs are finalists in the Music Blog, Multimedia, and Cover Design categories, respectively.
First organized in 1996, the AAN awards "honor superior journalism and graphic design among alternative publications across the United States and Canada. The contest promotes excellence by recognizing work that is well written, incisively reported and effectively challenges established orthodoxies."
The winners will be announced during a reception on July 13 at the AAN Annual Convention in Miami.
