The luxury apartment building that now stands on the old Cowboy Slim's site features one of the most badass hot tubs you'll see.

The Walkway's hot tub sit right on top of Lake Street, allowing residents and their friends to people watch in the heart of Uptown while relaxing in warm, wet style.

Clark Gassen, owner of The Walkway, tells us the hot tub was inspired by "something I saw on a national scale on a different project."

"The feedback has been very favorable," Gassen says. "It's a fun amenity -- not just your standard hot tub."

On its website, The Walkway market itself as "the first luxury apartment residence between the coasts, if not the oceans, that places your every desire within walking distance."

"We're not talking down the street, we're thinking more down the hall," the site continues. "You name it, we'll indulge it."

Gassen says units ranging from studios to three bedrooms are still available. Rents are $1,000 and up.
