Bud Grant selling "loads of Vikings stuff" during Bloomington garage sale
Today, Bud Grant turns 87. Tomorrow, the winningest coach in Vikings history is holding what organizers are calling his "biggest, best, and last" garage sale.
The sale, to be held at 8134 Oakmere Drive in Bloomington, will feature a ton of hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling gear; wildlife art prints by Les Kouba; and, perhaps most intriguingly, "loads of Vikings stuff." (Read a rife-with-typos post with more information about the sale here.)
The sale will be held tomorrow from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Grant was head coach of the Vikings for 18 seasons, during which he amassed a 151-87-5 record. He led the Purple to 11 division championships and each of the franchise's four Super Bowl appearances.
There's no word as to whether Grant himself plans to attend.
