Brett Favre visits 5-year-old boy with cancer: Video of the day
The Favres visited the boy's home on Friday.
Did you notice that towel Brett Favre wore on his belt Monday against the Bears before he was KO'd in the second quarter? It featured his number, 4, written backwards.
He wore it in honor of a 5-year-old Milwaukee boy named Anderson, who has a terminal brain tumor - the child writes things backwards because of his condition. Favre and his wife Deanna visited the boy and his mother at their home on Friday.
We've written plenty about Favre's bad-boy image in the wake of the Jenn Sterger sexting story, along with the dismal season he's had with the Vikings. But it's hard not to smile when you see one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play the game get down on his knees to try and bring a smile to this little kid's face.
