Bolt: a film for everyone

itemprop

Can you imagine growing up without getting to go to the movies? Children with autism often miss out on the much-loved childhood ritual because of a hypersensitivity to light and sound, and a lack the social etiquette for theater going.

This weekend, the Rosedale 14 is doing something to change that.

As part of a partnership between the Autism Society of America and AMC Entertainment, the theater will turn the lights up and the sound down, temporarily throwing its silence policy out the door. Viewers are welcome to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing.

Tickets are $5 for the showing Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m.

Sensory Friendly Films are a nationwide event. Click here for a complete list of theaters.
