Body found inside trunk of gold Lexus at Mpls impound lot [UPDATE]
A body was found in the trunk of the gold Lexus in the middle of this picture.
Today, a body was found inside the trunk of a gold Lexus towed to Wreckers Services at Glenwood and Lyndale Avenues in Minneapolis.

Details at this point remain scant, though a crime lab was on the scene early this afternoon.
According to the Star Tribune, the Lexus is registered to an as-of-yet-undisclosed address in St. Paul.

In February, the body of 18-year-old St. Paul resident Brittany Clardy was found inside a car towed to a Columbia Heights impound lot. No information about the identity of the body found today has yet been disclosed.

According to KARE, a foul smell emanating from the car initially drew the attention of workers. They then opened the trunk, found the body, and called 911.
KARE reports that Brooklyn Park Police are also involved in the investigation, as the car was towed from there to Minneapolis.
