Bachmann to apologize in new TV ad
Politico is reporting that Rep. Michele Bachmann taped an apologetic TV ad for her comments last week questioning Sen. Barack Obama's patriotism, according to a Republican source familiar with her campaign's decision.
Bachmann campaign spokeswoman Michelle Marston said the campaign will be airing a new advertisement this afternoon, but declined to comment specifically on whether Bachmann would be apologizing in the spot.
"You'll just have to wait and see," Marston said.
We'll update as soon as her ad is released. Her comments have officially backfired if she is spending money to apologize for them. Things fall apart.
