Bachmann: Proposed health care reform is unconstitutional
Rep. Michele Bachmann was on Sean Hannity last night talking about health care reform. Her latest position that will likely rile up everyone: The Democrats' plan for health care reform is unconstitutional.
"It's interesting, a lot of members of Congress may have forgotten what their Constitution says. But again, it is not within our power as members of Congress, it's not within the enumerated powers of the Constitution for us to design and create a national takeover of health care. Nor is it within our ability to be able to delegate that responsibility to the executive."
Anyone heard of Medicare? Oh yea, probably not. And in case you didn't realize, the government is not "taking over" health care. They are adding a public option for people who don't like, can't afford, or aren't provided a private option.
There are a bunch of other ridiculous lies, claims and stretches of the truth in this video. We're just sick of fighting back against people who don't listen when they are provided with the facts.
