Award offered for information about mysterious Whittier murder
Michael Portlance's brother is now offering $2,500 for "information that leads to the arrest & conviction" of someone in connection with Portlance's death.
Portlance, 58, was found dead lying near a fence in the 2600 block of Nicollet Avenue South on the morning of October 4. His death was determined to be a homicide.
Fliers like the one below have been posted on doors in the Whitter neighborhood:
