A 60-year-old man from Big Lake was arrested Tuesday for carrying a gun into Minneapolis City Hall, according to the Associated Press.

Police didn't believe him when he said he was on a mission for the government. Totally believable.

He tried to convince the officers that he was part of an operation with the government.  They did not go for it and arrested him at gunpoint.

There was a previous arrest in April when a man had a gun hidden in some plants.  They have now removed those plants and put up no gun signs.  That is probably a good idea.

It might be time to install metal detectors too. If only we had the funding to do it...
