Another Coleman staffer leaves, campaign closes offices
More signs that Coleman's campaign is slowly disappearing into the political abyss: Yet another staffer has left the team and they closed their campaign offices.
Coleman spokesman Mark Drake left the campaign to have some time off before starting his new job. The campaign offices also closed this weekend, says Minnesota Public Radio.
More from MPR:
Coleman spokesman Tom Erickson said Drake is taking some time off before he starts his new job. He wouldn't say where Drake is going.
When asked if (closing campaign offices) was "financial," Erickson referred questions to Coleman campaign manager Cullen Sheehan. I'm waiting for a call back.
Last week, Coleman staffer Luke Friedrich also left to start working for Rep. Erik Paulsen. We're getting down to skeletons here. Wouldn't people stick around in hopes of scoring a job in his office if there was still a chance to win this thing?
