Angry Packers fan accused of stabbing man after loss to Vikings
When we said this sports mania was getting a little out of line, we weren't joking around. Apparently one Green Bay Packers fan was so upset over the loss Monday night to the Minnesota Vikings that he stabbed a man when they get into an argument about the game. Classy doesn't even begin to describe it.
Ryan Hinderaker, 30, was wearing a Packers t-shirt when he allegedly got into an argument with a 41-year-old man at Leaning Tower on Lyndale Avenue S. dueing the game Monday.
The other man, who wasn't even wearing Vikings gear, allegedly confronted Hinderaker outside after the game and Hinderaker stabbed the man in the stomach. The victim's injury required surgery, but he is OK.
Hinderaker has been charged with second-degree assault, a felony. And now all Packers fans can bow their heads in shame. We've got Favre, so seriously get over it.
