Baseball players break bats all the time. Basketball players have been known to shatter backboards now and then. Football players sometimes get their helmets knocked off.
But have you ever seen a hockey puck hit so hard it breaks in two? Right. Thought not.
Former Minnetonka defenseman Andrew Procho, 19, recently nailed that athletic milestone. Now with the USHL Sioux Falls Stampede, he fired off a slap shot Tuesday night against the Sioux City Musketeers from the blue line. It hit the post and shattered in two.
