Al Franken busted out the ol' U.S. map drawing trick at the State Fair today [VIDEO]
You may not like Al Franken's hawkish view regarding Syria, but you have to appreciate the dude's ability to draw the U.S. map from memory.
Sure, most of the time it's about as useless a skill as you'll find, but it's good for at least one thing -- wowing crowds at the State Fair.
Today, Franken stopped by the MPR booth for an interview. He talked about some serious stuff before being presented with this challenge by host Tom Crann -- respond to audience questions while drawing the map.
We haven't been able to find a good video of today's drawing, but based on the finished product (visible at the top of this post), we'd imagine it looked awfully similar to this clip of Franken pulling off the same trick back in 2009:
Franken's foreign policy and privacy views may have drifted a bit since then, but it's good to know that some things never change.
