Wilebski's Blues Saloon now on Rice Street
The historic Wilebski's Blues Saloon, which has had a somewhat tumultuous history at its location on Western Avenue North in St. Paul, reopened in a new location on Rice Street last Friday for a performance by Kim Wilson and the Blues All-Stars.
The venue had been on Western Avenue since 1979 and hosted historic performers like Etta James, Albert King, and John Lee Hooker, but had open and closed a few times, most recently re-opening this past New Year's Eve for a short final run before shuttering two weeks ago to prepare for the move.
The new location:
1638 Rice St
Saint Paul, MN 55117
