Weezer planning 'Pinkerton' and 'Blue Album' tour
With a new album, Hurley, due out September 14 and new dates in the works, Weezer have said that they are in the preliminary stages of planning a tour that would involve front-to-back performances of Pinkerton and their first self-titled LP, The Blue Album. According to MTV, the tour would include two-night runs in each city, giving the band enough time to perform each album straight through before moving on to the next stop.
"We're just running it by promoters right now to see if there's sufficient interest in the markets to do something like that," Cuomo told MTV, "and if they're on board, it's gonna happen."
