Weekend Checklist: The Shins, Feist, Roger Waters, Grand Old Day

The Twin Cities will be steeped with indie-rock this weekend with The Shins at the Orpheum Theatre and Leslie Feist opening the MN Zoo's Music in the Zoo series. Cute pop band Bella Ruse will be leaving Minneapolis for Columbus soon, so make sure to catch their free show at the Lake Harriet Bandshell. And, if you're not too burnt out from block parties/music festivals yet, Grand Old Day will be taking over Grand Avenue in St. Paul on Sunday afternoon. Among the local CD releases this weekend are Get Gone, Andy Elwell, July Fighter, and Walker Kong.
