Weekend Checklist


It's November, that hated pre-dawn month of winter before the drizzle turns to snow, and the clouds hang upon the city like a death mask. Maybe its the daylight savings adjustment keeping some of our heavy hitters at home in front of Fallout 3 with a cup of Lipton instead of on the Triple Rock Stage with a Czechvar, but here are our weekend picks for shelter against the coming cold.

Shelter's four-hour marathon set sees buddies DVS1 and Ghetto playing their brand of skewed techno, classics, dance, you name it.

Altered Aesthetics feat Mike The 2600 King, Carly McMorrow, Jobot 1224 Quincy St NE City/Town: Minneapolis, MN 7:00 p.m.

This November Altered Esthetics will unveil the third installment of Level_13, their biennial video game themed show. Level_13: The Secret Level will offer a look at the way classic video games have influenced an entire generation of artists. The exhibit will feature an eclectic and vibrant mix of classic video game inspired visual art, installation and music.

The opening reception will feature the release of the Level_13 compilation CD and the Limited Edition poster from Burlesque of North America.

Myth Nightclub:
