Summer Music & Movies at Loring Park in Minneapolis

Those seeking the entire lineup for the Walker Art Center's popular/free Summer Music & Movies series, this is not your post.

But, for those seeking event details sprinkled out via 25 percent chunks, we've got news for you:

The 2016 Music & Movies season will be uncorked August 1 with a concert from local rock royalty Grant Hart, plus a screening of the Beatles' 1964 fan-avoidance romp A Hard Day’s Night.

Hart will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of Land Speed Record, the debut live album from his massively influential punk band Hüsker Dü.

As always, the live music begins at 7 p.m in Minneapolis' Loring Park, and the films start rolling at dusk. The following MyStErY dates have yet to be announced, as Monday's press release informed us:

August 8: [music act] + [film]

August 15: [musician(s)] + [movie]

August 22: [live artist specializing in sound] + [flick]
