Transmission celebrates 10 years with a gig in the Mainroom
DJ Jake Rudh has spent the last decade cultivating a dedicated following of friends and fans at his weekly dance nights. What started out as Destination Unknown at the Chatterbox Pub in 2001 has since evolved into Transmission, a Wednesday-night house gig that has bounced around to a few small venues and currently resides at Cluhouse Jager in the Warehouse District.
Contrary to the house and trance DJs who can fill up large downtown venues with weekend revelers, Rudh has kept his nights intimate and indie, offering up new wave-heavy sets that mix in punk, post-punk, synth pop, Brit pop, and indie rock.
This year, Transmission turns 10 years old, and to celebrate, Rudh is moving his gig into the First Avenue Mainroom for a one-off weekend show next month:

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, February 12 at 10 a.m. via First Avenue and its affiliated outlets.
