Trampled by Turtles unveil details for Live at First Avenue album

Last April, Duluth folk-bluegrass band Trampled by Turtles took over First Avenue for a three-night stand to celebrate the band's 10th anniversary. Now, the band has announced plans to release a live album and accompanying DVD celebrating the shows.
Live at First Avenue spans the band's six-album catalog, and will be released on November 12. Additionally, the show will be aired on the satellite TV network Palladia starting the week before the album drops.
Gimme Noise has a special tie to this project because I conducted interviews with Dave Simonett, Tim Saxhaug, Dave Carroll, Erik Berry, and Ryan Young up in First Avenue's Record Room to get their reactions to taking part in these performances. Parts of our conversations appear in the promo video for Live at First Avenue. Note that there was still plenty of (gasp) snow on the ground last April.
The collection is available as an LP/DVD or a CD/DVD, and 64-page photo book was also compiled by photographer Zoran Orlic. Pre-order options are available here.
