Tilia reveals Augtoberfest 2014 music lineup

Block Party season is definitely in full swing here in the Twin Cities, as music/food/beer lovers all look to capitalize on the glorious summer weather before fall eventually settles in. The good folks at Tilia have got a fun event planned that boldly stands out from the rest, as the Linden Hills restaurant is set to celebrate its 4th annual Augtoberfest on Sunday, August 17, from 2-10 p.m.

In addition to a stellar music lineup, Tilia will also provide a wide array of tasty beers and food, along with plenty of family-friendly activities like balloon arts and a bouncy tent.

Music will be provided by some of the best acts in the current Twin Cities scene, with performances by Strange Names, Narco States, Frankie Teardrop, Black Diet, Kevin Bowe & the Okemah Prophets, Umami, and DJ Truckstache.

Admission to Tilia's Augtoberfest is $7, with part of that cost going directly to the Linden Hills Business Association and the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council.

This will be your last chance to catch Strange Names play a local show in a while, as they're setting off to put the finishing touches on their hotly anticipated full-length debut, which is due out on Frenchkiss Records sometime this fall.

The rest of the music lineup is top notch as well, with a wonderful cross section of local acts representing the current music scene here in the Twin Cities. And if the great bands aren't enough to entice you to venture out into Linden Hills this Sunday, then the delectable food and drink options that Tilia regularly provides will most assuredly tempt your palate.
