The Rolling Stones Announce U.S. Tour, Minneapolis In June

The wait is finally over. After hinting at a potential Minneapolis tour stop for weeks, the Rolling Stones finally revealed the itinerary for the upcoming Zip Code North American stadium tour.

The veteran rock 'n' roll band will be making their triumphant return to the Twin Cities on June 3 -- their first local performance since an Xcel Energy Center show in 2005.

Tickets for the U.S. portion of their 15-date North American tour go onsale on April 13, with pricing information yet to be revealed.

The tour coincides with a re-release of the Stones' 1971 classic, Sticky Fingers, which will feature unreleased outtakes from those recording sessions, as well as live tracks from that era.

For the Zip Code tour (a play on the Andy Warhol designed zipper featured on the cover of Sticky Fingers), the Stones are promising a massive stage and light show, as well as a setlist that features a mix between the old hits and other standout tracks from throughout their storied career.
