Have you always wanted to live in a feudal society? Can you twirl fire? Do you play an instrument so old-school that it couldn't be used in a pop song... ever? Audition for a job at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.

The late-summer/early fall festival, held August 22 through October 4, is looking for theatrical individuals of all ages to add to their cast of crazy roaming street performers and stage acts. Talents may vary, as they are looking for dancers, combatants, actors, musicians, street roamers, group performers, and more.

No experience? Not a problem. Those who interview successfully will be trained and are invited to attend the festival's performance workshop. However, those auditioning should provide their own monologue or music.

The auditions will be held Sunday, May 31 from noon to 5 p.m. in Sears Court at the Mall of America. To set up an audition time or to ask additional questions, call the festival office at 952.445.7361.
