The Jayhawks play A Prairie Home Companion, release reunion record 'Mockingbird Time'

With only a couple of weeks left until the release of their reunion record, Mockingbird Time, the Jayhawks are flying into overdrive with a series of promotional shows, downloads, and appearances, including a recent stop at Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion last weekend at the Minnesota State Fair. In an attempt to keep up with the band as they celebrate the new CD, here's a roundup of recent 'Hawks events and freebies.
First, the Fair: As part of a two-hour taping at the Grandstand on Friday night (which aired on Saturday), the Jayhawks sat in with Garrison Keillor to perform several songs off the new record and a couple of older hits.
