The Hood Internet remixes P.O.S.'s Minnesota Beatle Project track 'Dear Boy'
We're doing our best to fill up your mp3 library with solid local tunes today. In addition to offering an exclusive stream of Sims' new track "One Dimensional Man" and a download of the entire new five-track EP by Minneapolis expats Love in October, we were psyched to happen upon this stellar Hood Internet remix of P.O.S. singing "Dear Boy."
"Dear Boy" is a Paul McCartney from the former Beatle's second solo album, Ram, and P.O.S.'s cover of the song was one of the more unique hidden gems on last year's airtight Minnesota Beatle Project, Vol. 2 (which we named one of our favorite local albums of 2010).
The Hood Internet treatment plays on the quirkiness of P.O.S.'s performance and sets his vocals against the instrumental track from La Roux's "In For The Kill" remix.
