The Cedar launches new iPhone app
Do you love seeing shows at the Cedar, but can't keep up with their schedule on the go? There's an app for that.
The famed Cedar Cultural Center just released their free iPhone app. The app will allow users to view a full list of upcoming shows, watch videos of scheduled artists and past performances, and listen to a monthly newsletter podcast.
Executive Director, Rob Simonds feels the app is an important step in the Cedar's continuing evolution, "The iPhone app is a natural extension of the Cedar's efforts to reach a wider audience," Simonds went on to say, "Describing music with words and pictures has obvious limitations; enabling people to hear music clips and see videos of upcoming performers more easily is the best way to convey what they do."
2009 was the Cedar's most successful year on record, and hopefully with nifty gizmos such as this, the Cedar will continue to thrive in our community.
