Though Tapes 'n Tapes won't be releasing Outside until January, they'll be debuting their new material tonight at the Turf Club with a front-to-back performance of the new album. And that's not all -- for anyone who can't make the show in St. Paul, the band will be streaming their performance via the interwebs.
[jump] We enjoyed the band's first single, "Freak Out," which was released a couple of weeks ago, so it will be interesting to hear the full record live, especially at a venue like the Turf Club, which has always seemed like a second home for the band. (Seriously, I can't remember the last time I hung out at the Turf and didn't run into Josh Grier and his lovely wife Keri in the Clown Lounge.)
Tonight's performance is scheduled to kick off at 11 p.m., and will be streaming here, with an accompanying set list, pull-away videos, and its very own hashtag (#tntlive) for those following along on Twitter.
TAPES 'N TAPES perform with Leisure Birds and Tarlton tonight, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11, at the TURF CLUB. 21+. $10. 8 p.m. doors.
