It may be a little early to think about concerts in December and beyond, but -- oh, who are we kidding? It's never too early to think about concerts.
The Hopkins Center for the Arts has just released its 2012-2013 Take Five Tuesdays calendar, and there are some exciting artists on the roster, starting with a holiday show from local jazz and soul singer Alison Scott on December 18.
In a five-piece installment spanning five months, the Hopkins Center for the Arts will be bringing out some of the best local and international talent that might not usually crop up on your weekly rotation of Minneapolis venues. In addition to Alison Scott, Take Five Tuesdays will be featuring renowned contemporary blues artist Ruthie Foster, Canadian acoustic folk-rock duo Dala, local "stark-country" group the Pines, and the local indie favorites Halloween, Alaska.
