There probably aren't many times where one would need to serve over 500 cocktails in an hour, but this upcoming Thursday will be one of those days. Bartender Chris Raph will serve an epic amount of cocktails in hopes of breaking the Guinness Book of World Records' current world record for most cocktails prepared in one hour.

The current record was set by Matthais Knorr of Munich, Germany, with a whopping 389 cocktails  prepared. Raph is clocking in at a minimum of 500 on trial runs, with around 10 drinks per minute on average, so he should crush Knorr's record.

The race goes down with a party scheduled for 7 pm Thursday, April 16 at the Shout House (650 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis--aka the skyway mall). Admission is $4, which goes to Finnegan's Community Fund, which donates proceeds to local charities that fight poverty.
