Sho Nikaido has consistently made Monday nights at Nick & Eddie worth a peek, but never more so than tonight.
Seated Heat (Birthday Suits' Matthew Kazama's, Sho Nikaido, Joe Berns, Andy Fritz, Charlie Garetz), self-described as "CAN finally meets Boredoms," will be diplomatically opening and closing the school-night mini-fest, sandwiching themselves between: the scum-protean Seawhores, the stark productionings of Albert (an early contender for year's best-named record, James St Murder Laden Mitten Wonder), Radical Cemetary, Slapping Purses, DJ duo Dick Pic, and DJ Makr (Mark McGee).
Summing up everyone's feelings about the band, Sho says: "I've been a fan of Seawhores since the '90s... I still have their first t-shirt! I wore it to Seated Heat's first show very purposefully."
Tonight's lineup is also a good preview of the music-and-movies events Nikaido is planning at Nick & Eddie throughout August, set to take place after the Loring Park events we are all looking so very forward to drinking wine during.
Tonight's show begins at 9PM, you can RSVP on the Facebook page
