Sarah Winters flips Taio Cruz's 'Dynamite' into saddest song ever
We're suckers for a good cover, especially one that takes a familiar melody and distorts it with a completely fresh perspective. So we were amped to hear that local songstress Sarah Winters has been turning heads on the blogosphere lately with her simple and somber rendition of Taio Cruz's Auto-Tuned club banger "Dynamite."
It's hard to say if it's the winter chill setting into our bones or the gray skies looming overhead or just the delicate sweetness of Sarah's arrangement, but we've been listening to her cover on repeat all morning and it's totally melting us from the inside out.
Sarah's song is capturing the attention of writers on the national level, as well; the New York Post has named her an artist "You must know," while her YouTube video has started making the rounds on the indie blog circuit.
