Saintly City Cat Show rewards animals for being cute, fuzzy


If it's small, furry, and makes little vulnerable noises, chances are people will think it's cute. This Saturday and Sunday, as part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival, the Saintly City Cat Club Championship Cat Show will judge the quality of over 200 cats in four categories (kittens, championship, premiership, and household pets). The male and female winners of the household pet category will be crowned Feline King and Queen of the carnival. Now if that doesn't beat a "Hang in There" poster in cuteness, we don't know what does.

33rd Annual Saintly City Cat Club Championship Cat Show takes place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the St. Paul Rivercentre (175 W Kellogg Blvd).
