Rhymesayers to celebrate 20 years at Target Center

What's the best way to celebrate 20 years as a record label? By throwing a year-long celebration and capping it off with a massive concert at the end.

On December 4, 2015, Rhymesayers will take over the Target Center for one of their biggest hometown gigs yet. Though the lineup is yet to be announced, knowing the label's depth of artists -- as well as their reach and influence throughout the hip-hop community -- it will likely include a stellar bill featuring some surprises from the local and national rap scene who will help cap off their 20th year as a record label in a major way.

Rhymesayers has been flying high following another highly successful and sold-out Soundset festival this past Memorial Day weekend. The label has recently decided to bring the fest back to the Twin Cities, as the Minnesota State Fairgrounds will play host to Soundset in 2016.

Along with all of that success comes a lot of hard work; to tell their story, Rhymesayers has been creating videos to document the early days of the record label with video features that include many of the talented artists who have helped them succeed and flourish for the past two decades.

Stay tuned for the lineup announcement and follow along with the hashtag #Rhymesayers20 for breaking updates.
