Retribution Gospel Choir book Turf Club residency with Dead Man Winter, release new video

After releasing The Revolution EP in March, Retribution Gospel Choir have already played a few memorable shows in the Twin Cities to celebrate. But apparently those gigs weren't quite enough, as the spirited Duluth trio have just announced that they will be doing a Tuesday night residency at the Turf Club throughout the month of June, along with the Trampled By Turtles offshoot (and fellow Duluthians) Dead Man Winter.

In addition to those intimate local shows they have recently scheduled, RGC have also just released a playful, throwback video for the cowbell-laden new track "Maharisha," which features the all-white clad band taking turns at keeping the infectious beat. interspersed with some more natural looking live shots the group.

Tickets for each of the Turf Club shows with Dead Man Winter are $10, and are on-sale now (but certainly won't last long). RGC's fourth Tuesday night residency show scheduled in June will feature the Minneapolis garage-rock quartet Crimes as the opening act.

All of these gigs are 21+, start at 8 p.m., and are sure to be riotous, enjoyable affairs. These shows should allow the growing legion of fans of all the bands an opportunity to get an intimate, up-close look and listen to these energetic groups within the always friendly confines of St. Paul's Turf Club.
